Feline Infectious Peritonitis FIP belongs to the family Coronaviridae and the genus Coronavirus.
This kit can be used to detect feline infectious peritonitis antibody in feline blood or serum, and can be used for feline AIDS infection screening and auxiliary diagnosis.
Test principle of the Feline Infectious Peritonitis Antibody Test Kit
This product uses a rapid immunochromatographic technique for the detection of antibodies to feline infectious peritonitis in feline whole blood or serum. If the FIP antibody was present in the sample, it would bind specifically to the recombinant protein labeled with colloidal gold to form a complex that moved along the chromatographic membrane and was captured by the FIP antigen coated on the membrane, showing a wine red line on the detection line (T). If the FIP antibody is not present in the sample, no visible line is formed at the T position. No matter the result is negative or positive, the C line should be colored, otherwise the result is invalid.
